In the Maxvorstadt district of Munich, on a Friday morning, a 13-year-old female student was walking with a teacher and another student, heading towards the city center. As they proceeded along Elisenstraße, the group encountered two men. One of these men allegedly reached out and touched the student’s chest over her clothing.
Immediately following the alleged contact, the 13-year-old swiftly pushed the man’s hand away. The assailant and his companion then quickly moved away from the group. The group promptly notified the police about the incident.
Suspect in Teen Groping Identified Through Botanical Garden Surveillance, Leads to Arrest
A swift police pursuit was initiated immediately after the report, yielding a successful outcome within approximately one hour. Despite the suspect changing his attire in the interim, officers were able to pinpoint the 32-year-old man. His movements were captured by the police’s video surveillance system in the Alter Botanischer Garten, which significantly aided law enforcement in tracking him down.
Following the completion of police procedural steps, the apprehended individual was transferred to the detention facility at the Munich Police Headquarters. A warrant for the arrest of the 32-year-old was subsequently issued the following day.
