The programme for Kirchweihdult 2025 in Munich has been published: all the details

Munich / Au – The Kirchweihdult festival slots almost seamlessly into Munich's calendar of traditional public festivals. From Friday, October 17, to Saturday, October 25, it's time again to browse, stroll, and enjoy the offerings on Mariahilfplatz in the Au district—for the final time this year.

Amusement rides are also traditionally part of the event, including the traditional “Russenrad” Ferris wheel, which will now operate under the name “Riesenrad 1925” (Giant Wheel 1925).

Getting there is very convenient using MVG public transport. To handle the crowds heading to the Kirchweihdult, the MVG will partially double the frequency of tram services towards Mariahilfplatz.

Between Sendlinger Tor and St.-Martins-Platz, additional tram 18 services will run on the first weekend of the festival and on the final day from approximately 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The trams are scheduled to run at five-minute intervals.

The festival is accessible via the Mariahilfplatz stop using bus line 52, and via the Schweigerstraße stop using bus line 62. Those who don’t mind a short walk can also take the U1 or U2 subway lines to Kolumbusplatz or Fraunhoferstraße.

Due to the autumn weather, the Kirchweihdult market stalls are open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the amusement rides operate daily from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Tuesday, October 21, is Family Day, with discounts for children and families.
