Munich / Trudering – Several people were injured in a collision between a car and a public bus on Thursday morning in Munich’s Trudering district. Fire and rescue services were deployed on a large scale to Feldbergstraße as a result of the incident.
According to a spokesperson for the fire department, who spoke to the German Press Agency (dpa), there were around 30 kindergarten children and four caregivers on board the bus at the time of the accident. Other passengers were also present on bus line 194, which was heading toward Riem.
In the collision, one child, the driver of the involved car, and another adult sustained injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment. Several other people, including children, received medical care on site. The fire department initially reported no information about any serious injuries.

The uninjured children were taken into care in a large-capacity rescue vehicle. Some parents collected their children directly at the scene of the accident, while others were escorted back to the kindergarten by the fire department.
As of Thursday morning, the exact cause of the accident remained unclear. The police have launched an investigation to determine how the collision occurred.
