Family Forest Festival at Kurpark Abwinkl in Bad Wiessee
On Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21, the Turn- und Sportverein Bad Wiessee will host its traditional forest festival in the Kurpark Abwinkl. The Wiesseer brass band will provide the perfect musical accompaniment, while culinary delights such as grilled fish on a stick, crispy roast chicken, and freshly tapped Tegernseer beer will be on offer. A special highlight will be performances by the Goaßlschnalzer, who amaze audiences with their intricate whip-cracking displays, as well as a performance by the marching band from Bad Wiessee.

Traditional Forest Festival with Open-Air Mass in Rottach-Egern
On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the Gebirgsschützen Tegernsee will host their popular forest festival. The celebration will take place at the Schützenhütte on Valepper Straße 57 in Rottach-Egern. The festive day will begin with an open-air mass in Enterrottach. Afterwards, visitors will enjoy traditional musical performances by the brass band of the mountain riflemen’s company, Alphorn players from Tegernsee, Goaßlschnalzer from Rottach, and the young musicians of the Wallberger group.
Food and drink will also be plentiful, with hearty Bavarian specialties and refreshing Tegernseer beer served throughout the event. Wine booths and bars will remain open late into the night. The Gebirgsschützen forest festival has become a beloved fixture on the regional events calendar and even attracts guests from the Munich area.
