Middle Franconia Police Increase School Route Safety Checks in Ansbach

The summer holidays in Middle Franconia are coming to an end, and the new school year is just around the corner.

Starting Tuesday, September 16, 2025, many students in the region will return to their daily school routines. In front of an elementary school in Ansbach, the police will set up an information stand to explain the importance of school route safety and provide comprehensive information on the topic. Media representatives are invited to attend this event.

Police Ramp Up Controls for Start of School Year

To alert motorists to the dangers on school routes and emphasize the importance of more cautious behavior around school beginners, police stations across Middle Franconia plan to intensify controls starting on the first day of school. Officers will pay particular attention to illegal stopping and parking in front of schools and along school routes. Compliance with speed limits and the proper securing of children in vehicles—such as seat belt requirements and the use of appropriate child seats—will also be a focus of the checks.
