The investigations by the Miesbach Criminal Police have not yet led to the clarification of the crime or the apprehension of the perpetrator. Therefore, witness information (even anonymous) is once again requested.
During the night from Wednesday to Thursday (July 31, 2025), at approximately 1:15 a.m., a previously unknown, masked perpetrator entered a gas station on Miesbacher Straße in Holzkirchen. While brandishing a knife he had brought with him, the perpetrator stole a four-figure sum of cash and ultimately fled in an unknown direction.
The perpetrator can be described as follows:
- Male, approximately 18 – 30 years old, approximately 183 – 187 cm (6’0″ – 6’2″) tall, spoke German without a recognizable accent.
- Wore a black jacket, blue jeans, a black balaclava, and black sneakers with white soles.
- The perpetrator was armed with a 30 cm (12 inch) long knife.

The investigations by the Specialist Commissariat 2 of the Miesbach Criminal Police Station, under the case management of the Munich II Public Prosecutor’s Office, have so far not led to the clarification of the crime or the apprehension of the perpetrator.
Reward of €4,000 Offered
To further clarify the armed robbery, and following consultation with the Munich II Public Prosecutor’s Office and in coordination with the Miesbach Criminal Police Station and the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office (LKA), a public reward of €4,000 has been issued.
Important information regarding the reward:
- The reward will be granted exclusively for information that leads to the solving of the crime or the arrest of the perpetrator.
- The reward will be awarded and distributed excluding the right of legal recourse.
- The offer applies exclusively to private individuals and not to police officers, as the pursuit of criminal acts is part of their professional duty.
Investigators are once again asking for information from the public:
- Who noticed anything suspicious in the vicinity of Miesbacher Straße in Holzkirchen around 1:15 a.m. on the night of Wednesday to Thursday (July 31, 2025) that could be connected to the crime?
- Who can provide information on the identity of the perpetrator?
- Who noticed suspicious persons in the area of the crime scene beforehand or observed any other irregularities?
- Who can provide any other relevant information that could contribute to clarifying the crime?
