” The format of the event is impressive in its density—twelve in-demand artists and more than six hours of live performance at one of the city’s most prestigious arenas.
The lineup this year brings together both recognized masters of the stage and bright representatives of the new wave. The list includes Vicky Leandros, Matthias Reim, Ben Zucker, and Melissa Naschenweng. They will be joined by Mickie Krause, Andy Borg, Oli.P, Anna-Maria Zimmermann, Ross Antony, Peter Wackel, Vincent Gross, and Tim Peters. Representatives of Munich Olympic Park do not hide their enthusiasm, noting in the official announcement: “There are Saturdays that we look forward to with special impatience!”
The organizers are betting not only on big names but also on the technological aspects of the show. The doors for spectators will open at 16:30, so that by 18:00 all guests have time to take their seats. Special attention is deserved by the stage concept developed specifically for this tour: it is intended to provide “incredible proximity” of the artists to the audience, erasing the boundaries of the huge hall. The program will be accompanied by complex production elements and a custom light show, turning the concert into a cohesive multimedia performance.
For those planning a spontaneous visit, the news is discouraging: Olympiahalle is close to a sell-out. As of March 26, only a few individual tickets for the perimeter zone at a price of 71.90 € remained on the MünchenTicket resource. On the Eventim platform, the situation is no better—the last available seats in the stalls and stands vary in the range from 89.90 € to 109.90 €.
The Olympiahalle is conveniently located in the northern part of Munich, in the Milbertshofen-am-Hart district. For those who prefer public transport, the walk from the U3 metro station (Olympiazentrum) will take about ten minutes of leisurely strolling through the park. Also, directly at the “Olympiapark West” stop, trams of routes 20 and 21 stop, which makes the logistics as comfortable as possible even during peak hours.Source: Munich Olympic Park Press Release
