In just a few days, Guns N’ Roses will take the stage at the Allianz Arena for what has been described as a spectacular outdoor event. The Olympiapark’s official website referred to the band as “one of the most important and influential rock groups of the past four decades.”
The group achieved worldwide fame in 1987 with their debut album “Appetite For Destruction,” which sold over 30 million copies and remains the best-selling debut album in music history. Following this success, the band released global hits and embarked on acclaimed tours. In 1993, they delivered what has been called a “legendary and unforgettable” concert at the Olympiastadion. They returned there in 2017 and most recently in 2022. This year, however, they will perform for the first time at the Allianz Arena, promising a “unique open-air spectacle.”
With the Olympiastadion undergoing a comprehensive modernization, the Allianz Arena will serve as a temporary venue for large events between 2025 and 2027. Concertgoers can easily reach the stadium by taking the U6 subway line toward Garching-Forschungszentrum, getting off at the Fröttmanning stop. Drivers will find parking garages nearby. Full details regarding travel to the venue are available on the organizers’ websites.
In a surprise development for those who have not yet secured tickets, seats are still available just days before the event. Tickets on Eventim start at €113, though some may offer limited views. Ticketmaster is currently selling standing room tickets on the arena floor for €125, as of June 13, 2025. Additional seats in the stands are also available.
