For bus lines 53 and 59, the stops Hohenzollernstraße and Friedrichstraße will be canceled. Bus 54 will be rerouted between Münchner Freiheit and Mauerkircherstraße. Toward Lorettoplatz, the stops Hohenzollernstraße, Giselastraße, Thiemestraße, Chinesischer Turm, and Hirschauer Straße will be closed. The stop Am Tucherpark will be relocated to the stop in the direction of Münchner Freiheit, and Tivolistraße will move to the stop for line 154 toward Westerlandanger. On the way back toward Münchner Freiheit, the stops Chinesischer Turm, Thiemestraße, Giselastraße, and Hohenzollernstraße will not be served. The stops Hirschauer Straße and Am Tucherpark will each be relocated to the opposite direction, while Münchner Freiheit will be moved to the stop for line 53 toward Aidenbachstraße.
Night buses are also affected: Lines N40, N41, and N45 will be rerouted between Münchner Freiheit and Maximiliansplatz. The stops Hohenzollernstraße, Georgenstraße, Siegestor, Universität, Von-der-Tann-Straße, and Odeonsplatz will be canceled. Instead, along the detour, the buses will serve the tram 27 stops Elisabethplatz, Nordendstraße, Schellingstraße, Pinakotheken, and Karolinenplatz in both directions. On the way to Münchner Freiheit, the additional bus 53 stops Pündterplatz and Bismarckstraße will also be served.
Night lines N43 and N44 will be rerouted between Giselastraße and Kurfürstenplatz. As a result, the stops Hohenzollernstraße, Münchner Freiheit, Friedrichstraße, Pündterplatz, and Bismarckstraße will be closed.
The changes will apply from Saturday, September 13, starting at around 8 a.m., until Monday, September 15, at approximately 3 a.m. Passengers will also be informed about diversions through notices, announcements, and the MVGO app.
