The best cycle ball players in Bavaria will determine the champions this weekend at the Paartalhalle in Kissing. On Saturday, February 21, and Sunday, February 22, the Kissing Cycling Club (RSV Kissing) will organize the title fights for the thirteenth time since 1990. Qualification rounds in all age groups have been conducted since November 2025. Now, 27 teams from 8 clubs have been identified to determine winners in five disciplines over 98 matches.
The Kissing Cycling Club is represented at the tournament as an organizer in the youth categories U13, U15, and U19, as well as among men (Elite). The competition begins on Saturday at 11:30 AM. In all five classes, six teams will first meet in a round-robin format. The top two teams will advance directly to the semifinals, while the remaining teams will fight for a spot in that stage through quarterfinal matches.
Local favorites and top-tier competition
In the U13 age group, Ruben Zugel and Noah Weiss will represent the Kissing Cycling Club. The U15 team will also participate: in the qualifying round, Janik Weiss and Aaron Zugel secured their place in the Bavarian Championship. Luis Treder and Hannes Weimer will make their final appearance in the U19 junior category before moving to the adult division (Elite) next season.
A special competition awaits the club in the Elite class. Martin Egarter and Thomas Kieferle have once again reached the First Cycle Ball Bundesliga and will face a team from Stein—the current leader of the top division—over the weekend. The other teams represent Bechhofen, Steinwiesen, and Mindelheim, with Stein also fielding a second squad. These teams play in the Bavarian League. The first-league representative from Stein is considered the tournament favorite. On Sunday, competitions will begin at 10:00 AM. Final games in all age groups are scheduled for 1:00 PM.
