Around 9:30 PM, an unknown man engaged in conversation with a 26-year-old man in Bamberg very close to the train station. He attempted to pull the victim’s mobile phone from his back trouser pocket but was unsuccessful. During the incident, another man was observed near the scene of the crime.
At approximately 10:20 PM, two unknown men attacked a 24-year-old man in the underground passageway to the platforms, separating him from his two companions. The attackers forcibly took the man’s mobile phone and around €130 in cash. The 24-year-old victim did not sustain physical injuries.
On Saturday around 2:00 AM, a 29-year-old man was walking towards the taxi rank on the station forecourt. Suddenly, an unknown assailant struck him from behind, knocking him to the ground. The perpetrator stole a smartphone worth about €550 from the victim’s trouser pocket and fled in an unknown direction. The 29-year-old man suffered abrasions to his face, knee, and hand, as well as a split lip. He received medical treatment at the Bamberg clinic.
Given the proximity of the crime scenes and times, as well as the descriptions of the perpetrators, a connection between these cases cannot be ruled out. The victims described two unknown attackers as follows:
Man, approximately 170 cm tall, around 30 years old, dark complexion, dark hair, dark beard, dressed entirely in black (black trousers, black quilted jacket, blue sneakers).
