Spiritual light of “Warm Home”: how Anna Stuckert unites generations in Bavaria

The charitable landscape of Bavaria resembles a living organism: established foundations have been working here for decades, while bold private initiatives are born alongside them.

The path of such projects is rarely linear — ideas transform, are supplemented, and take on new forms, responding to the demands of the time. It was in this atmosphere of a sincere desire to help that the Töply Dom by Anja (Warm Home by Anja) project arose, becoming a true place of strength for many.

The founder of the project, Anna Stuckert, moved to Germany for family reasons. To those who knew her restless energy in Russia, it might have seemed that she would feel cramped in quiet Europe. However, Anna is not one to choose passive recreation. She instantly integrated into the media environment, working as a journalist at world-scale events — from press conferences of the Federal Chancellor to G7 and G20 summits. Surprisingly, such a tight schedule did not hinder family happiness: two more children were born into the family already in Munich. Anna is convinced that motherhood is not an obstacle, but an additional incentive for development.

Philosophy of care and creation

Children, elderly people, and those whose health has faltered always remain the most vulnerable. A deep understanding of this responsibility pushed Anna and her husband Yuri to create a socio-cultural platform in 2022. Töply Dom by Anja is not just an organization, but a full-fledged club for those in their golden age who know how to appreciate every moment and do not wish to remain in isolation.

The project offers not only assistance in everyday issues but also high-quality leisure. Everyone is welcome here: elderly people with and without disabilities, as well as refugees from Ukraine in need of adaptation. It is important to note that the club’s activity is not like the work of a classical foundation fixated on a constant search for donations. Private initiative and the support of like-minded people lie at the core. A significant contribution to development is made by the company Goldenzeit GmbH – Ambulante Pflegedienst, as well as the Munich Social Referat, which appreciated the importance of such meetings.

Team of like-minded people and large-scale events

The success of the project rests on bright personalities. Together with Anna, Raisa Stifelman and Klara Pecherskaya work on creating comfort. Each of them is a unique professional. Raisa is known to Munich residents as a talented head of a children’s theater studio, while Klara, being an engineer by education, shone on the theater stage in productions by Larisa Mikhailova and Alexey Feldman. They directed their creative drive and organizational experience toward making the daily lives of the club’s wards brighter.

The project is emphatically international. No one looks at a passport or religion here. For example, Warm Home actively cooperates with the parish organization Sant’Egidio under the leadership of theologian Ursula Kalb. This partnership proves that mercy has no borders.

In 2025, the Stuckert spouses officially registered a charitable foundation, hoping to attract even more resources to expand aid. However, due to economic difficulties in the country, finding large sponsors is not easy now. Therefore, at the moment, the foundation exists as a legal base, while all real, living work is in full swing within the framework of the original project.

The results are impressive: in less than four years, the number of participants grew from a few dozen to a thousand people. The club’s hallmark has become the New Year celebrations in the very heart of Munich — the Ratskeller restaurant, where hundreds of guests gather at festive tables.

New horizons: “Transformation”

Today, the club has an inspiring new direction — a project called Transformation. It was created specifically for women of the older generation. The main goal is to destroy stereotypes about old age. The organizers help ladies love their reflection in the mirror again, manifest their individuality, and realize that age is not a reason for sadness, but a deserved dignity.

Anna Stuckert formulates the mission clearly: to return the interest in life and faith in their own strength to people over 70. This especially applies to those who, for various reasons, were left without proper care and family warmth. The project team acts as defenders and intermediaries for self-help groups, promoting ideas of active longevity and a healthy lifestyle. If you or your loved ones want to become part of this community, the club’s doors are always open. Regular meetings take place every first Friday of the month from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This time is filled with communication, support, and the warmth that is so often lacking in the modern world.
