Herzogenaurach – Southern Germany’s largest techno festival attracted 90,000 guests this year. In 2026, the Open Beatz festival is also expecting a packed program. Here is what has been revealed so far.
Powerful basslines, extravagant costumes, and an abundance of music—the initial preparations for the festival in Puschendorf near Herzogenaurach have begun. The festival primarily offers electronic music, which will be spread across five distinct stages. While the pompous ‘Galdera’ stage will feature EDM, bass, and house, the equally popular ‘Zone III’ will host hardstyle, rawstyle, hardcore, and frenchcore. Adding to the mix is ‘Stonelands,’ located behind the main stage but separated by a small lake, where electronic music lovers can move their hips to techno and hard techno. A particularly unique experience is the ‘Magical Forest,’ for which guests often queue for hours. Once inside the famous forest, festival-goers can dance to techno and tech-house. Opposite will be ‘Goatlantis,’ where attendees can dance to Goa and psytrance amidst bright neon decorations.
Beyond DJ performances, guests can look forward to numerous other activities—from sports and yoga to refreshing swims. The famous ‘Open Church’ will offer a space for quiet reflection and socializing. Of course, various food trucks will be operating, allowing festival lovers to grab a bite anytime. From breakfast and lunch to dinner and various snacks, there will be plenty on offer, including vegan and vegetarian options.
A portion of the artists performing in 2026 have already been announced:
Confirmed acts include, among others, Timmy Trumpet, Felix Jaehn, Ski Aggu, HBz, Cascada, Luca-Dante Spadafora, Kobosil, as well as numerous hardstyle artists for Zone 3 and techno DJs on the Stonelands stage.
In July, Timmy Trumpet was forced to cancel his performance at the Open Beatz festival at the last minute due to a serious foot injury. The star DJ is keeping his promise—the popular Australian will perform as a headliner on the main Caldera stage. Different worlds will collide on the main stage in 2026: Ski Aggu is also on the bill for next year and will perform his hits “Friesenjung,” “Party Sahne,” and “Deutschland” in Puschendorf. The German DJ duo HBz will also be represented at the festival next year.
Felix Jaehn has also been confirmed for the main Caldera stage. With international hits like his remix of “Cheerleader” and “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better),” he has conquered global charts and is one of Germany’s most successful DJs of recent years. A new addition is Cascada: with tracks like “Everytime We Touch” and “Evacuate The Dancefloor,” Natalie Horler represents absolute dancefloor evergreen hits that belong in any good party playlist.
Luca-Dante Spadafora is a newcomer making a real impression on the European EDM scene. The young artist has created several viral songs and remixes, such as “Mädchen auf dem Pferd,” “München,” or his current remix of “Weihnachtsmann & Co. KG.”
Wildstylez, Sub Zero Project, and Da Tweekaz are announced as hardstyle acts. Fans of rawstyle and uptempo should keep an eye on the Zone 3 stage. Sickmode, Unicornon K, and The Straikerz will perform at the festival and deliver some serious heat.
Kobosil will share the Stonelands stage billing with Serafina, Kuko, and Ueberrest, who will guide visitors through the night with their sets, showcasing different facets of techno.
