Grammy-Winning Artist Embarks on Extensive Tour Across Europe

Drake, 38, a five-time Grammy Award winner and one of the most influential artists of his generation, will kick off the “Some Special Shows 4 UK EU” tour on July 20 in Birmingham. The announcement follows his scheduled headlining performance at the Wireless Festival in London. The tour includes stops in major cities such as Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich throughout August and September.

The Munich concerts will also feature Canadian R&B artist PARTYNEXTDOOR as a special guest, adding further excitement for fans. The general ticket sale begins on June 6 at 3 p.m., with high demand expected.

Return to Europe After 2019’s Assassination Vacation Tour

This marks Drake’s first European tour since the Assassination Vacation Tour six years ago, which also included sold-out dates across Germany. For the 2025 tour, two shows are planned in Cologne (August 15–16 at Lanxess Arena), Berlin (September 11–12 at Uber Arena), and Hamburg (September 22–23 at Barclays Arena), in addition to the Munich performances.

From Breakout Mixtapes to Global Chart Domination

Drake first gained prominence with his 2009 mixtape So Far Gone, which MTV named the best mixtape of the year. His international rise continued with the 2018 double album Scorpion, a chart-topping release with 25 tracks. The subsequent U.S. tour, Aubrey & the Three Migos, featured major guest appearances from Meek Mill, Travis Scott, and French Montana.

Continued Success With Hit Albums

Over the past several years, Drake has maintained his dominance with a string of successful albums. Care Package (2019) compiled fan-favorite unreleased tracks, while Certified Lover Boy (2021) broke Apple Music streaming records. He followed with Honestly, Nevermind (2022), showcasing a dance-heavy sound, and later that year released Her Loss, a joint project with 21 Savage, which saw all 16 tracks debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

Chart-Topping Releases Continue Into 2025

In October 2023, Drake released For All The Dogs, his eighth studio album. It made an immediate impact, with all 23 songs entering the Billboard Hot 100 and seven reaching the top 10. Most recently, on February 14, 2025, he and PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped their collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, now the centerpiece of the upcoming European tour.

Fans in Munich can look forward to two high-energy performances filled with fresh material and beloved hits, marking a major highlight in the city’s 2025 concert calendar.
