Xavier Naidoo Announces Comeback with Two Concerts in Munich Despite Ongoing Legal Proceedings

After more than six years away from the stage, Xavier Naidoo is returning to live performance. The controversial singer has announced two concerts in Munich as part of his upcoming tour.

According to concert promoter Live Nation, performances are scheduled for January 8 and 9, 2026, at the Olympiahalle.

Ticket presales for the tour have already begun and are seeing strong demand. According to the promoter, more than 150,000 tickets have already been sold. The first two concerts in Cologne are sold out, and ticket sales are high in other cities as well. Due to overwhelming interest, an additional date in Berlin has been added to the tour schedule.

Comeback Tour to Begin in December

The tour will kick off in Cologne in December 2025. Naidoo will then perform in various cities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including Zurich, Vienna, Hamburg, Leipzig, Berlin, Mannheim, and Munich. Tickets are available through major platforms such as Ticketmaster and Eventim.

Naidoo’s last live performance took place in 2019. For many fans, the tour marks a long-awaited comeback by the artist.

Controversial Past: Allegations and Investigations

In recent years, Xavier Naidoo has faced widespread criticism for his public behavior and statements. He drew national attention by appearing at events associated with so-called Reichsbürger groups, promoting QAnon conspiracy theories, and making polarizing remarks about the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2022, Naidoo publicly distanced himself from his previous actions and statements. In a video statement, he admitted to having been deeply involved in conspiracy narratives for an extended period. “I have said and done things that I regret today,” he stated at the time.

Nonetheless, two legal proceedings are ongoing at the Mannheim Regional Court. Naidoo is under investigation on suspicion of incitement to hatred (Volksverhetzung). Prosecutors allege that he shared content via a Telegram channel that included antisemitic statements and elements of Holocaust denial. It remains unclear whether the court will open a full trial.

Naidoo’s legal counsel has rejected the allegations, asserting that the 53-year-old singer firmly denies all accusations.
