Munich Launches Online Portal to Simplify Access to Financial Support for Families

Families in Munich now have access to a comprehensive online platform that brings together all available financial support programs in one place. The new service aims to make it easier and more transparent for families to learn about and apply for assistance.

Many families are entitled to various forms of financial aid but often struggle to keep track of the different programs. To address this issue, key institutions in Munich joined forces under the “Network for Family Benefits” initiative to develop a centralized online information portal.

New Online Platform Offers Clear Guidance on Family Benefits in Munich

“The Network for Family Benefits offers a reliable guide through the complex field of family policy support. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for families in Munich to access the financial assistance they are entitled to,” said Thomas Braun, Regional Director of the Family Benefits Office Bayern Süd.

The new platform presents an overview of the most important financial benefits specifically available to families living in Munich. Its purpose is to provide users with quick and clear orientation.

Simple Explanations and Direct Links Provided

The portal features straightforward and easy-to-understand descriptions that help families quickly identify which benefits may apply to their personal situation. Direct links lead users to the responsible authorities, where many applications can be submitted online immediately.

“It is of central importance to us that the people of Munich can easily receive the benefits to which they are entitled. That is why I am especially pleased that, with the Network for Family Benefits, we have created an independent platform that significantly simplifies access to these services,” said Munich’s Deputy Mayor Verena Dietl (SPD).

Broad Coalition Supports the Network for Family Benefits

Members of the network include the Munich Employment Agency, AOK Bayern, the Association of Independent Welfare Organizations Munich, the Family Benefits Office Bayern Süd, the Munich Job Center, the City of Munich, and the Bavarian Family and Social Affairs Center (ZBFS).
