Munich – Missing Person Alert in Solln Neighborhood
Hans-Jürgen Fickenscher, 72, was last seen on the morning of Friday, May 23. He left his home in the Munich-Solln district around 7:30 a.m. and has not returned since. All attempts to locate him so far have been unsuccessful, according to the Munich Police Department.
Man Suffers from Dementia and May Be Disoriented
Authorities report that Fickenscher suffers from dementia and is unable to orient himself in time or space. It is feared he may be in a helpless condition and unable to seek assistance on his own.
Police Release Description and Photo to Aid Search
To broaden the search, police have published a photograph and detailed physical description of the missing man. They urge residents, especially those in the Solln area or nearby neighborhoods who may have seen someone matching the description since Friday morning, to come forward with information.

- Approximately 1.75 meters tall
- Weighs around 72 kilograms
- Slim build
- Short gray hair, partially bald
- Last seen wearing:
- Dark blue jacket
- Dark blue blazer
- Light-colored jeans
- Long-sleeved T-shirt
- Shirt
- Synthetic leather house shoes
- Carried two unidentified bags
